I want to wear short shorts in the summer to stay cool, but still keep my modesty. I had the idea of making a couple lace wrap around skirts that I could wear if I had company or was out in the yard. But the price of lace is too much. I've seen shawls that look like netting and wondered if I could make something like that. Now I can sew, but not knit. I've seen these looms that people use to make yarn items. I even tried Googling it and finding instructions at Youtube. Nothing I've found helps. If anybody can help me here. Why don't you just use a sarong? It would nice and light, there's so many to choose from and they can be reasonably priced.
