Of course you can :') what made you think you can't? I've had all of my piercings done with titanium and currently I'm wearing 5 titanium, 3 surgical steel, 2 cheapo nickel/unknown material and sometimes I wear silver as well. You'll know very quickly if you're allergic with swelling, bruising, irritation, leaking, etc so just take them out and try whatever you like. I'll put anything in my ears/ tongue/nose/ nipples and I've never had a problem. SURGICAL STEEL ONLY Titanium is the strongest and least reactive gold is soft and expensive but lowly reactive Nickel/cheap ones are the most reactive but the cheapest and last a good while white gold is good for people reactive to yellow gold Be sure you only use brand new jewellery and have it cleaned or sterilised before wearing e.g. boiling water, alcohol, etc
