Since you have so much dark-colored furniture, a dark rug, and dark drapes, you'll want to go with a light color of flooring and walls. Try something a couple of shades lighter than the pine in the picture you provided the link to.

maybe a dark brown wood color

I am a college student and I am moving apartments.

I am getting a new coffee table to go with a tv stand I already own.

I want to expand my options by not limiting myself to matching the wood color.

We also have a deep maroon rug, and maroon window drape if that matters... The couches are to be determined. (Unfortunately they'll probably be dark brown and old fashioned hahaha)

So my QUESTION IS: What color wood(s) could I pair with my existing tv stand?

Any ideas would be helpful. :) Cause I'm clueless and hoping for a decent looking living room!
