Composite flooring or composite decking is usually made with either wood flour (a recycled post-industrial material), PVC or wood fibres and polyethylene.

Good quality composite can look very similar to wood. It doesn’t scratch, split or dent very easily. It's low maintenance and you do not need to paint or stain it. It does come in a lot of different colors, but you can't change the color later by painting it.

There's lot of different brands and styles available. It's usually more expensive than wood decking and a good idea to check around and find a product you like that you can afford.

Composite wood flooring is a flooring option that uses real wood engineered with special properties such as moisture resistance and high durability. Composite wood flooring is much easier to install than traditional hardwood flooring. And it is often difficult to visually distinguish from other types of wood flooring.
