How can I make a comfortable area hangout?

The most comfortable hangouts for me when I was a teen had little to do with what was there. It had to do with a feeling of being isolated from the rest of the world -- like an area where we were in complete control and no one would bug us. The first image that popped in my head was a clearing in the middle of the grass were the dudes just hung out on the ground, but with the grass being really tall (like 6 feet) or maybe a cornfield. Visual isolation I think would be the key. IF you wanna have some kind of actual structure or a "place" consider looking on craig's list or thrift stores for an old canvas tent. Those guys came in sizes that were certainly big enough for six teens. Then just some mats on the floor or simple chairs and you've got a hangout. Gotta have a good camera for low-light shots tho. You could also look for a good used bug nylon tent -- those also come really big and would let some more light through. A big tent in a visually isolated place would seem believable to me...

Okay so I'm writing this webseries and it's a teen drama and basically this one character built this place in the woods where he goes to hangout with friends. In real life the woods are accros the street from me and theres's this grassy field that I was gonna just cut and I need to build a comfortable hangout place for like 6 teens and it doesn't need to look professional maybe like a wood post and tarp. idk but do you have any ideas. really low budget so maybe like 100 to do it total
