This is the very reason, poisons and pesticides should be restricted to qualified applicators.
These actions are what poison/pollute the environment, and you are killing a lot more than one spider.
Most likely, the spider was harmless, probably a wandering grass or wolf spider, maybe a ground spider, and it would no more like to be near you, than you of it.
When I was a kid, I would catch any spiders, and keep them until I identified them and learned a little something about them. If you could do the same thing, you would see they are nothing to be afraid of, and you would be surprised how fascinating spiders can really be.
Perhaps next time you find a spider, you can try this, it helps, or at least release it outside, then everyone is happy.
well, if you sprayed then yeah, but even if u didn't it probably ran away
I freaked out when i saw the spider and placed it on the Coffe table and sprayed everything down with Terro even the box and the articles that surrounded the package. then i left the room for awhile. Is the spider probably dead by now or left the house?
