They don't need the door to get into your room.....they can climb through cracks as thin as a sheet of paper.
If you have them in other rooms of your house, you are in trouble.
Boric acid...a white powder sold in stores as a roach killer......is pretty good. Raid or similar works for the live ones.......the hundreds of eggs behind your walls will hatch and you will need to spray again in a week.
Keep your place clean.

I saw a medium-ish sized roach crawl up my wall. I know there are other roaches in the house but I've never seen one in my room. I had a bag of trash in my room that I was using as kind of a garbage can and it had been in here for months. I saw the roach crawl up the wall behind it and I killed it and removed the bag. I normally wouldn't think twice about it, but my door is on the other side of the room. So I would like to know if I could have more roaches in my room. Thanks
