Should I get a tv for my room?

I've never had a TV in my room. I know I could never get comfortable enough to watch it. People who do have TV's in their rooms usually fall asleep and the TV is still on in the morning.

Probably the best place would be in the living room or in an extra room if you have one in your apartment. I suggest you make it very clear to your roomy that you get first pick on what shows you want to watch. I also suggest you purchase the TV by your self and don't share payments. May cause problems that you can do with out. If you have games, make it clear to your roomy that she needs to ask permission to use them and they are to be put back in place when finished. A few rules never hurt and will keep things less complicated.

I suppose a TV in your room would be OK if you only watch it and turn the thing off before bedtime. Or simply watch TV in your room for a little alone time. Just judge the time before bedtime.

If you buy a TV you should put it in the living room, not your bedroom. Your bedroom should be a quiet place to unwind and go to sleep. Many people say they have trouble sleeping and it is because they have a TV and watch it in their bedroom. Experts will say, no TV should be in your bedroom. But, if you do buy a TV, you need to make sure your roommate will not try to take it over and you both will fight over who gets to watch what.

Had a tv in my room when I lived w my parents and when I moved in to my own apartment I was strict about the no tv in the bedroom and I sleep so much better and it gives me an excuse to leave my bed ;) I say get a living room tv

yeah it's great idea, and you can also play xbox in that tv

I just moved into my first apartment and I also have a roommate. We both do not have TV's and I'm pretty sure she isn't going to buy one anytime soon. Should I just buy a small tv for my room instead of one for the living room?
