How to get a beehive out of a beach umbrella?

I left a beach umbrella outside and some bees built their hive in it. Now I need it and it's full of bees.

bees are protected in the uk anyway, you,d have to get bee keepers to remove it...

I doubt it. Those probably are paper wasps, not bees. Wait until night, open the umbrella, then knock off the nest and destroy it.

Here in the United States, contact the American Beekeeping Federation and ask them for a member in your area who will come out and remove the bees from your property. Honey bees should not be killed, and a professional beekeeper will be happy to establish another hive from the honey bees in your umbrella. Link two provides another way to locate state specific sources for assistance with your bee problem.

Our in the uk or us? If your in the us just spray them with a bee killer from lowes or Home Depot, get whatever one shoots from farthest away and do it at night. Soak the hive and area. Check th can to see if it stains fabrics so you don't ruin your umbrella. Or just buy a new umbrella cuz it may take time for them all to die and others to stop flying to that nest

Do it at night when the bees are asleep to avoid getting stung or get a professional beekeeper to help.
