Mold on bathroom wall?

Probably just mold and it comes off very easily with regular household cleaners.

You aren't ventilating that bathroom good enough. I developed a great system where I use a box fan that I put in the shower after I'm done & it dries the shower so no mildew will grow on the walls. I also turn on the exhaust fan. You just have to remember to unplug it before you go to work or school. It takes about 45 minutes to dry. This should also help with your drywall too.

It's been years since I used mildew killer but I don't take a shower everyday so it might not work as well for people who do. Another thing you can do though is alternate bathrooms. With my system, it might be 7 or 8 days before I use that same bath or shower again.

All this can be yours for $79.95 & I'll throw in a free loufa.

It is likely black mold, however, there are many kinds, some are dangerous, others are not.

You need to mix 1 part water with 1 part bleach and cleanse the area completely, and as often as need be that it remains gone. Best not to take chances with mold.

One other problem is that depending on the type of walls in your bathroom, how well they are sealed and vented, and how much space is behind them, the mold may be growing inside the walls as well, which can lead to serious health hazards.

nope

I don't know exactly what it is, but there is a patch of what looks like black pencil marks on my bathroom wall near the ceiling. I take long, hot showers and the walls get wet. Is this dangerous to my health? It's been there for over a year and I have no breathing problems.
