Only the military calls for specs to be perfect which is why a quart of oil in the Army costs 10X more than as a civilian. Same oil but the container has to be exactly 1 quart. Who weighs paint cans? Why did you think of that? Sort of an interesting idea. My brother once weighed a bag of dog food and found it was 2 pounds short. I just thought of that. Umm! Maybe, I'll start doing that.
If the empty can weighs "more than 4grams", then, say 5grams, then a full can should weigh 316grams. So one is 1gram less, and the rest are several grams more. Yes! you should certainly complain that they have given you too much paint!

I recently bought a six pack if black plasti dip spray cans from amazon and they all weigh different. Ranging from 315grams to 323 grams. Net weight on the can reads 311grams. I feel can weighs more than 4grams when empty. Should i complain or is this expected?
