Vacuum. Why are maggots in your carpet?

why do u even have maggots in your carpet? I dont think thats normal. U should throw away the carpet. maggot eggs or larvae is tiny, and cannot get rid of them until they actually hatch.

Throw out the carpet if maggots are growing in it.

Maggots come from blow flies and they live on something dead.

What you are seeing might be the larvae of the Indian Meal moth and they come out of food in the pantry, like packaged food and from pet food.

If they are fuzzy, they are carpet beetle larvae that is very common in homes. The vacuum will pick them up.

Im not the one who has them!

A good friend of mine has them, she doesnt want to take the carpet out then replace it, she lives In appartment ? Is there anything else you can do without tearing the carpet?

I had this happen to me once, I never could understand why, my only guess was that something was dead under the foundation. It was a rental so I constantly vacuumed them up and sprayed disinfectant., until one day it stopped. I know first hand that a lack of cleanliness wasn't the cause.

I doubt that you have maggots in your carpet, unless it was knee deep in crap.
