well you could of course lock the door, but I think if would be a lot more fun to set up a booby trap that dumps a bucket of cold water on them when they open the door. or maybe one that shocks them.

Somewhere where they can not find, and if they do move agian, get a restraining order.
I have a few family members and "friends" that enjoy forcibly opening my door with little to no warning. I'm almost certain they do it to scare the pants off my underpants, with my underpants following forthwith thereafter. These abrupt entrances that can be heard around the world are quite disturbing when I'm trying to work or sleep in my home office...
I've seen these "arms" at the tops of doors in several stores that prevent people from opening their doors too quickly. Would installing one of these be a good idea to prevent future pencils from breaking their tips and knees banging the undersides of my desk?
Or maybe there's a simpler way that I haven't thought of. Although I have thought of politely asking them to knock it the heck off, but to no avail. I have also threatened that, if they refuse to knock before entering, they'll suffer an immediate blow to face with an air gun (no, not a BB gun. A gun that shoots pressurized air). Disappointingly, not even the threat of an air blast can quell their desire to induce an eventual heart attack, in fact it seems to encourage them.
