How do I make my room nicer with limited space and funds?

I googled "beautiful tiny rooms" and clicked on images. Here's the link:

Paying attention to your personal taste and editing like crazy (Jim's advice about throwing away junk applies here) are key. I don't know what your personal taste is, but if you create a scrapbook of images that attract you, you will start to understand the direction you should go in.

For example, if you love a fresh, modern look, you might like something like this:

If you aren't into that, you won't like it. Maybe you are more feminine and romantic and traditional, and prefer something like this:

I've been clipping photos of rooms for years, and it is so interesting to see that there are more similarities than differences in my picks...even though styles have changed a lot over the years. I've come to understand that the common threads are the elements that make me feel good in a space, so even if I have to compromise in the decor of a room, I aim to include some version of the elements that make me smile.

All that to say - if you love a clean, modern look, the best bang for your buck may be a can of paint (for walls and furniture to give a clear pop of color and lots of white or black or whatever), maybe a fresh carpet remnant that looks like a brand new floor. If you love a romantic look or an adventurously eclectic look, the best bang for your buck may be thrift store finds. If you are a happy-go-lucky friendly person, you can load your room with all sorts of inexpensive stuff and feel awesome in it, and part with it easily when your craving for variety sets in.

Proper flooring tiles can make your room look bigger. And you have bundle of options now a days, so that you can select according to your choice and comfort as well. Try out Centura Tile, it's stores are all around 14 places in Canada.

Experiment. Try wall shelving. Store items under your bed. Throw out any junk you have in your room. Stack milk crates on their side.

Shop at goodwill or garage sales for inexpensive dressers and shelving.

My room is okay but it's 9ftX9ft and it's kind of small. I mean my bed is 6 feet long. I have less than 99sq ft so have any ideas? Btw my tv is mounted and I have a huge wall shelf in my room
