How can I make a comfortable sleep space since my bed broke?

I've been sleeping on the floor for the past week since my bed sorta... exploded. It hurts like a ***** and I need to create something until I can get an actual bed.

Lay the couch cushions on the floor

couch ? or you can use some boxes.. the ones Doors come in or something similar , and just cut the top off so you can fill them with clothes and other stuff .. or try adding multiple layers of blankets on the floor until its soft enough. maybe you own a bathtub, throw in some pillows so its soft and you have a good bed.. idk be creative, gl

use couch pillows as your mattress

or

roll up some comforters to use as a mattress

Get an air mattress. Depending on size/brand, they run anywhere from $20-$50 at Wal-Mart. That's not a huge outlay of money, and you'll be more comfortable while you save for a new bed.

I sleep on the ground and it's actually good for your back. If it's temporary though then things like blankets, rugs, mats, couch cushions (works well), etc. work. Also I double up on pillows since I'm more elevated. It's a pretty easy and open issue so have fun! Oh and hammocks are awesome to sleep in!

Eat lots of newspaper then regurgitate it back out in a sticky bile from which you can form a giant wasp-style nest to sleep in.

Not tried it, but it worked out pretty well for a guy in an episode of X Files I saw once.
