Sticky tack will not peel the paint. Maybe you could get a cute pin board (Like the one below) to put your pictures on. Make sure you love the color of your room before you redecorate so you will buy the right color accessories. :)

but i have no idea where to start or what to do first. I want to add some christmas lights and want to make a collage out of pictures and magazines and was wondering how can i put the pictures up without taking the paint of the wall with the tape also any helpful tips on decorating would also be awesome.
