Products you've bought but then never used?

I had bought some Pampered Chef items at a fundraiser that fell into that category: a springform pan that seemed like something I would use but never did, along with a cheese grater and a fancier garlic press. The simple fact is that it's more economical to buy minced garlic in a jar and keep it in the fridge. And my old grater worked better, and I didn't need the pan.

Without the fundraiser I never would have bought them. Lesson learned. I'd have been better off just giving money. Lol

That would be a good question for a hoarder.

Of course if any respond they would answer "Everything" if they could find their computer.

Seriously though, I bought an (As seen on TV) car washing tool that attached to a garden hose.

The pressure from the hose created a spin action that according to the commercial scrubbed a car with "Rotating turbo action" without having to touch a dirty rag ever again.

That thing soaked me to the bone and utilized so much water to create the spin action that only an idiot would continue using it.

I guess I was an idiot for buying it, but I never used it ever again.

I bought a jigsaw and a woodplaner. I have never used them. Going on 20 years.

When out shopping, or shopping online, have you ever bought anything for the kitchen or for use around the house that seemed like a good idea at the time but that then you never used, or else you only used once or twice before deciding you were better off not bothering with?
