Amazon sells things from many vendors and dealers so one persons account can vary greatly to anothers. make sure you know that shipping these things will require a bit of money if it weighs alot or is larger like a dresser they ship it freight which gets pricy. I have bought things from overstock a few times and it works out. you do get what you pay for though so if it is cheap it will be cheap.

Agree with James about the variety of Amazon vendors. They will each have a customer rating however, so go for those who have the best rating for customer service. I purchased a bedframe and headboard and it was exactly as pictured and we are very happy with it.

You would be better off going to a local furniture store or Big Lots. You see the furniture you're getting.
