I suspect that they are cockroaches, but if they really are beetles as you say, they certainly aren't mealworm beetles. You need to post a picture of them because the solution will depend upon a correct identification.

I have tried to look for solutions on Google, but a majority of them are based on the beetles being in the kitchen. My room is part of a basement. It seems like they are coming from my bathroom because that's where a majority are found. I can't find exactly where though. How can I get rid of these bugs?
