Shouldn't take any special care. You don't need to water them that often. Maybe once a week, but you need to water long enough for it to soak deep.

Don't worry about pruning unless a branch gets in the way. You could even braid, or twist the sprouts together.

BTW - I live in Los Angeles CA in the San Fernando Valley where it reaches 100-115 degrees sometimes for days or a week in the summertime. Thank you.

pray harder.

My previous landlord had mental issues and chopped down two fully grown healthy Palm trees and one Jacaranda on the property before his brother forced him to sell before he clobbered all of the 8 Royal and Queen palms as they were partners. Anyway the property sold within a month and fortunately the new owner is a lover of shade. I prayed for a new Jacaranda and 3 months ago, even though the monster prev landlord had the gardener chainsaw deep grooves into the flat stump and roots, another 3 sprouts have grown and are now appx 3 feet tall. I water every other day as there is no shade and fortunately the summer hasn't reached 100 degrees it seems to be very healthy. New landlord taped the 3 growths together a month ago so they won't grow spread. Now I don't know how to care for it. Do I cut the other two later? If so, when? Fertilizer? Please help on how to grow it correctly.
