If you have a salvage store in your area, they often have throw pillows from Target or other stores, usually for less than $5 in my area. I found cheap area rugs at Lowe's by browsing every week until I saw the ones I wanted marked down. Walmart and other chain stores often mark down rugs and put them in the clearance section, to make room for new stock. Good luck.

Where can you buy cheap area rugs? I need a decent sized one for my living room and one for my dining but I'm only 1 year out of college and don't make a ton of money so I can't spend more than 50 bucks on a rug.

Also, where can I get throw pillows? Even if I'm just getting cheap ugly pillows and buying my own fabric, where do you get those pillows? or is there anywhere with throw pilows for like less than 10 bucks?
