Can anyone recommend a good book on gardening in Arizona?

I've seen a lot of gardening books, but they look kind of generic and geared more for Northern climates. Anyone know of any good titles?

I don't know where you've been looking, but any good local bookstore should have gardening books for local conditions. I just googled "arizona gardening books" and found quite a few, either for sale from websites or on lists of recommended books. Even if you don't buy it, you should have a look at the Sunset Western Garden book, which you may find in the library. They use a very different climate system than the USDA does, and according to their system Arizona has 4 growing zones. The book has a large list of plants, and says which ones are suitable for which zones.

Hi Karen, thanks again. I did find several sources that talked about the zones in Arizona. I don't know why I couldn't find them before. Thanks again.
