Bathtub/shower area too dark!?

Go to Lowes or Home Depot. They have lights (which generally fit flush to the ceiling) which are especially designed for high humidity areas (or "outdoors.") They aren't fancy (usually) but they get the job done. I googled RECESSED LIGHTS FOR SHOWER and found many choices.

Sometimes finding what you want takes knowing what to "call it." Good luck. You'll love your bath more with a light. IF you own your apt. I'd suggest you turn that "light" into a light+ceiling fan. However, it must be vented outdoors and for that reason, only condo and homeowners can do this.

I just re-did my bathroom in a new apartment. It wasn't until I actually bought the curtains that I realized it is way too dark in the tub area once they are closed.

My Construction person says he's going to put in some lights designed for damp areas on the ceiling within the shower area.

I need to look into this so that I can buy the materials. What type of Light fixtures am I looking for? I can't be the only one with this problem. I'd ask him, but he's gone for a week on vacation and I'd like to have what I need by the time he gets back.
