Depends on what your definition of rich is. You need the first 21-26 or so years of your life to educate etc. The middle is your earning potential years. You can't draw social security until 65 or so? So you have about 40 years of earning to save for when you can't work. When you graduate you'll probably spend up until age 30 or 32 trying to pay off student loans getting married, etc. Take very little risk. Unless the rewards are high. Pay your home off early and buy used until you do. (Frees up $1k or so in income monthly) Your never too good to clip a coupon. Free money!!! Go to church. Do your best.
Go to a credited college, not online. Work hard and work your way up. Keep your job. As well as what Mark Daly said.
Hard work, the right kind of career, good contacts, productive business relationships and a little luck can never hurt.
