What can I do to help nature?

It's simple all you need to do are a few things:

~Don't burn gas into the air in an unnecessary moment

~Don't litter (duh)

~Don't waste food, supplies, or resources

~Don't feed animals man-made foods such as bread, use seeds or something to that extent

~Don't harm nature in anyway you can think of, like little things such as bugs

Those are most of the DON'Ts now here are some things you SHOULD do:

~Do make a garden in your yard to bring fresh air all around you ( of-course only do if you have the time)

~Do recycle all paper, plastics, and cans( try to make 3 separate bins to throw them in every time you can

~Do reduce all fire usage as much as you can, this will lower air pollution

~Do make sure that all lights are turned off when not in use (even fluorescent) this lowers light pollution so we can see those beautiful stars in that clear sky

~Do open windows instead of an air conditioner (its free!)

~Do leave no trace, this is a term used in Boy Scouts which should be taught to everyone. It basically means that you should leave no trace of where you have been. For example, do not pick up a leaf or rock and take it, no matter how pretty it looks.

You have a good start so far, but remember there is always room to improve. Just another fact: using paper is not wasting trees in the forest, paper comes from trees in tree farms that are grown only for making paper. So spread the word, a lot more people need to know that! I know it kind of confusing, but a true nature saver knows the term "kill a tree them plant a tree" that basically means that for every tree (or anything) you kill or destroy on accident, plant a new one and put the old one to good use. Hope this helps! I hope you really put your mind to this and eventually tell others about these tips to make the world a healthier place!

The question is not what you can do to help, but what you can't do to help. There are SOOOOO many things you can do, drive less, cut back on electricity, switch to Solar, recycle more, etc... Like you stated, Hybrid cars can be expensive, but the benefits of doing these outweigh the cons. Recycling is necessary BIG TIME! because we are using too much space for trash. Solar energy can save you money in the long run. If we do all of these, then we can make an impact on the environment.

Simple things like recycling, using less toilet paper, waking or biking more often, cleaning up trash off the ground, taking a quicker shower, and informing others can help the environment. But it sounds like you're on the right track. Good luck!

P.S. recycling can save up to 70% of wastes in landfills, and it takes the same amount of energy to make 20 recycled aluminum cans as it takes to produce 1 brand new one...

Build a solar still, collect rotten fruit from the grocery stores, make ethanol for your gas guzzler, be manly and drink some of the moonshine, build a gasifier, gasify the spent mass into charcoal to use as biochar thereby sequestering the carbon and use the syngas produced to help the still and dry the mash.

Of course, it's a lot of effort to do all of this.

STOP BURNING PLASTICS, PRACTICE WATE MANAGEMENT OR SEGRATION OF BIO FROM NON-BIODEGRADABLE WASTE IN THAT SIMPLE WAYS YOU CAN PROTECT THE NATURE .

I was watching Planet Earth (great series btw) and I was watching all of these animals flourishing in their habitat. But it got me thinking. The human population is not going down anytime soon, so we're going to keep taking this away from them. We are also polluting this planet to a near irreversible level. I just feel I have to do something to help. I already switched all the lights in our house to fluorescent, and put various bird feeders and houses in my yard, but that isn't nearly enough. I've always wanted to switch to a hybrid car, but I feel that would cost a butt load of money (how do they even charge them?). They also are looked as a pretty feminine car lol. Should I switch to recycling? Are there any donations I can contribute to? Are there any suggestions? Thanks!
