Is Perpetual energy POSSIBLE?

If we could use the rotational force of the earth like a giant generator .

You can have energy as long as there is some thermal difference available ( sun vs earth for example).

At some point in the very very far distant future the universe will experience a thermal death ... so no you cannot have perpetual energy.

But the sun will last us until the human race is extinct.

And as for perpetual motion or some sort of 'free' energy ... it's pretty much nonsense, at least with our technological abilities.

Take a hundred pennies and put it in one hand, transfer them to your other hand but drop a penny for friction losses, also take out 25 cents for the power that you use, then transfer the pennies back to your first hand, again dropping a penny for friction and 25 cents for the power that you use. If you still have a hundred pennies in your hand then perpetual energy would be possible.

Obviously it isn't possible and you have to be an idiot to think that it could be.

if we were able to build a machine that would run forever eventually a component would break or decay

it is possible that a machine could run for a stupendously long time however it would need to be "renewable" so we don't have to fill the fuel tank

physics always caches up with you

we could theoretically build a machine that runs of no fuel yet needs minimal maintenance

also we know that when you dig close to the earth core it gets hotter and hotter

Kola Superdeep Borehole has reached so close to the earths core it found tempritures of 180 °C

perhaps a machine that uses heat to produce electricity could be placed so deep

however maintenance would be so difficult it would be easer to leave it there and replace it when broke

dangling it on copper wire wouldn't be practical due to the resistance and for lack of a better term "decay" of electrical current

thinks like carbon nano tubes and such look promising for such an application

but it would need to last a long time AND have a decent output to be worth bothering with

Perpetual ENERGY is possible as long as the sun shines. Perpetual MOTION is not.

No. That breaks the laws of physics.

Is Perpetual energy POSSIBLE?

a never ending energy?

i've read somethings bout this...

some said it could be, but the authority will never

give it to the public..

cause it will kill all the power plants in the world.

i don't know. maybe?

what you think guys?
