You can either call that company and say you found it and are cutting it up right now. Or you can just cut it up and toss it into the trash. To use it, well the transaction would be traced back to you and you'd get jailtime or get a misdemeanor on your criminal report and prospective employers will see that and you might find it hard to get a job.
Thought about trying to contact the owner ?
Who has probably already reported it gone.
Go ahead an use it. So when they track down the fraudulent purchase to your IP address, we get a good story
You might get in trouble or you might not. But if you are an honest decent person then you would not do it. If you are a low life cheat and thief then go ahead.
It's my card and I have cancelled already.
Well, yeah, plus they'd send it to the home address of the cardholder. In most states, that's the law.
That would be fraud. You go to jail for fraud.
Finders Keepers is a children's game, not a legal principle.
That is called theft. Buying something and not paying for it.
Ahahaha yes you would. You have no proof you found it and could be charged for theft... :-)
yeah the previous owners will look at the online statements and see that you made purchases online, then they will contact their bank and you will be in trouble.
haha i was only joking I am gonna contact the owner
