How to expose someone commiting bank fraud? (Details inside)?

I have this friend who supposedly got his car broken into a little while back. He told me he had his debit card and PIN number stolen from inside. What he discovered was that $15,000.00 was stolen, but I was skeptical because I knew my friend had no money in his account. He then proceeded to show me his mobile Bank Of America account balance, and it showed that -1,000,000.00 was missing... which made it seem even more sketchy.

My friend has been recently purchasing things like a new computer and etc. Which i wonder how he got, because i know he doesnt have a job.

Now, finally, i talked to a mutual friend of ours the other day, and he told me that my friend called him a while back and asked to use his bank account in promises of getting him $15,000. Its strange how he supposedly LOST $15,000, and then called my friend and told him he could get him $15,000.

I want to expose this bastard or trying to deceive my friend, and prevent him from decieving more people. Can anyone tell me a good way to expose him? I know he has taken measures to avoid getting caught, but there HAS to be some way for him to leave prints behind to be found...

In all likelihood the bank's own investigation will determine his guilt, while they just write off small losses without looking into them, they have plenty of resources they can put to work to identify who has been making the purchases.

I found little info for card fraud Whistleblowers?, the card fraud hot lines some banks have will be asking for your account information, though tey may listen to your report.

Police.

I seriously doubt this.

Stay out of the matter, you have no proof of ANYTHING.
