About 3 years is my experience. If you lights start having short life before that, try cleaning the little solar cell with window cleaner.
How long the lights stay lit during the night depends on the type of light, and the season of the year.
Well obviously solar lights need batteries. There is no sun at night when you would need the lights.
The ones I have last about 3 years. Except for the really cheap ones from the mart stores. They lasted 3 months.

when you charge your cell phone,if u pluck it off b4 it is fully charged then it will not last long to supply energy needed by phone. Similarly he your solar battery charge longer in sunlight it will last longer.
atleast 2 days
They are the lights that you push into the ground on spikes. How long do the batteries last?
