Second, keep in mind, you are not a police officer, but if you know of specific crimes, you could tell what you know to the police, who can investigate him while leaving you out of it. If he was acting simply as a low-key pot dealer, rather than as a far too open thug wannabe, then he and the pot itself would not really pose problems, since regular smokers (like myself) tend to use it responsibly, as we would alcohol. People like me would *never* involve teens in our private consensual, responsible use of this substance. Though regular users are technically breaking a law, marijuana use is quickly moving into the legal area of adult activities, taxed and regulated, keeping users in private, and away from kids, who do not need to be exposed to the smoke. Pot smoke, even second-hand or from other's clothing, is not directly harmful to lungs, as tobacco is, but in teens, there is some evidence it alters how the brain matures, and not in a good way. For adults with mature brains, it does not have those issues, and should be considered a private matter. Anyway, he is not even making an attempt to keep his activities private, so he cannot expect his privacy to be respected.
All of that said, the real problems are the *other* crimes, plus the potential use of the gun in the commission of those crimes. If you cannot ignore him, and you believe he is actually involved in theft, burglary, armed robbery, etc., rather than him boasting of things he has never actually done, then again, speak to your parents, or to a school official, or to the police.

If someone is perceived as a threat, they can be searched, if anything is found, the loser SOB is arrested, and no more shitty smells on the bus for you.
When the bus is pulled over, turn off the phone completely, later when the crap has been wiped off the bus, you can either trash the phone, or use it again when SHTF.

I'm only 13 but the other day some head decided to show up on my bus. I'm white and so was the guy but he was talking to a black girl that I sort of knew. He claimed he would be taking my bus now because " I gotz to steal up Mefa Hardware so I can get one o dem maskes they be sellin there, ***** knows I need the mask that goes down to yoz neck and covers up da whole head sept the eyes" He says his friend has a glock and he always smells/talks like a pothead. I know he sells thousands worth of the stuff per month in the summer. He also steals from stores. He may not be 13 but he's in 8th grade. I despise people who sell drugs. His dad apparently smokes too. I don't know how to act but I'm really conceresd. Please help me.
