have you read the Dick act it says we all should have a gun and that it cannot be rescinded
there are 100s of millions of guns in the US, less than 1% of them have been used in a crime
most hunting rifles were or are based on military rifles
not sure what you mean by "big military ones" but what you have to remember is it's the person holding the gun not the gun that kills people
if I put a gun in your hand would you just start shooting people?
it does not matter what type of gun it is, in the hand of an honest man you have nothing to fear
You have your wish.
The Beretta M9 is a run-of-the-mill 9mm handgun. Military shotguns are essentially the same as those previously on the market. No select-fire small arms are available from the manufacturers. In short, "military grade" is a new garbage term used by anti-gun people to demonize normal sporting arms. And even if M-16's and M-4's were widely available, it wouldn't make any difference. There are some fully automatic firearms still in civilian hands, and only one (in Ohio, over twenty years ago) has been used in crime.
If you understood firearms, and understood the current laws, you'd understand the argument. As it is, you're arguing from uninformed emotion. It's understandable that you'd get an emotional response.
Hi! So me and my friends had a debate about gun control. I said I would like to see legislation limiting the amount deadly continuous military weapons to the American public. She starts screaming and says "WHY DO U WANT TO TAKE AWAY ALL THE GUNS!??!" And she even said"I'm going to laugh when your at gunpoint and you don't have a gun to protect yourself". I've noticed multiple web pages that have sprouted "protecting the 2nd amendment". However I just want the big military ones not to be sold. Why does everyone get so offensive when I say that? (Have they read the constitution?). Your thoughts?
