The cardboard containers are labeled as being made from recycled materials, that's recycling. A recycling bin that you toss things into is not recycling, that's collection. It only gets recycled if there's a market and if the market is large enough, they would fish the recyclables out of the trash. The recycling bins are just green washing so that foolish people think they're recycling when they pitch something into the bin. It's recycling if you choose to buy products made from recycled materials not when you pitch something into a recycling bin.
The employees that work at McDonald's really don't care much about what's going on because McDonald's basically hires everyone that really can't find another job. McDonald's is a big corporation regardless of how bad the employees seem to work, customers will continue to come because of the prices and the name brand they have established over the years.
So don't take nothing serious at McDonald, maybe the slides there fun lol.

I just was there and asked if I could recycle the cardboard from my meal. The worker said yes and then threw it straight in the garbage lol. Is this normal?
