I think more people should be taught how to take care of our natural resources instead of being so over top one way or another. We should teach people that hunting is not bad, as long as you are taught to hunt responsible. We should teach people to use resources such as water responsibly. People complain about small things damaging the land, but no one says anything about how much is destroyed for people to look for gold. They destroy way more land than drilling for oil, but you never hear anyone talk about it. You also never hear anyone talk about the positive aspects of hunting. Many species, such as deer, will over populate and cause starvation and disease if they were not hunted. And it's ok to use water in factories if it's needed, it just should properly cleaned before it's released back into the water system. It's mainly common sense.

Yes environmental activism. It is killing people in Africa because of the ban on DDT. This activism essentially quashed any use of DDT because of the book Silent Spring which said that it made Robin's eggs soft. That, of course, is not true but it was enough to get the greenies to push for a ban on DDT. Now millions of African children are dying of malaria. Which would you rather have hard Robin's eggs or a million children live?

Environmental activism has pushed for taking food off the table and putting it in gas tanks. Two things happen. People starve for lack of food and people go hungry because they can't afford food.

Trash on the beach is nice but I would much rather have people live, healthy and full of food.

The plastic bags flying around pisses me off more than anything else. They all land in the oceans, and my sea turtle babies. And the trash in the ocean.
