right now ive been trying to save up and have around 13k in my savings. my plan is just to save up as much as i can and then try buy to morgage a house when i reach 20-30k. personally i think renting is not suited for me as i could be saving instead or paying of a mortgage. unlike my friends i dont have strong motivations to leave my parents house asap, so is my move bad or abnormal ? what would u lot suggest ?
You are doing fine. You will have a much brighter financial future, too following the path you are on. {But do try to save even more - like a month's rent every month - unless you are paying a lot to your parents.}
{I moved back home at age 24 after getting out of the military so that I could concentrate on college. I left for good after I graduated and got married (in the same year).}
It's all about educating yourself. I'm a college student currently making $5-10k a month online I spent over 4 years educating myself and I can finally say I mastered it. I was able to buy my first car, apartment and pay 65% of my tuition in cash.. Yes I said cash.
You can join any business in this world MCA, WUN, Infinity Downline, etc. But if you don't know how to drive traffic, get leads, and make sales you won't make a dime. I can help you.. Its fine but dont let it turn into 30yrs old living at home because 24 may turn into 30, 30 may turn into 40 and so on... Try to be out by 28
Best of luck
There is nothing wrong with living at home if you are currently saving money to finance your future, as you are doing. If you were just bumming off your parents and spending money left and right without saving a dime for your future, then yes, it would look bad. I commend you on being able to save money and plan for your future - many people your age are struggling to get by due to being careless and irresponsible with their money.
MOST 24 yr olds probably still live with parents. do you have ANY credit? if no, you won;t get a mortgage right away
