Put the shorts in the washer at the shortest setting (norma) and follow instructions for water temperature. Every washing machine is different so there's no need to put the shorts in a full cycle. If the shorts are very dirty, you could wash them by hand in the kitchen sink, rinse them in clear water then put them in the washer on the spin cycle.
