I don't think I would buy one that wasn't working, however, I have a watch that I love and it stopped working but I still wear it.

I got a Swatch as a present for Christmas and I absolutely adore it! It must have been also around 25-40 but it's not only for style. I wear it around everywhere and I find it more convenient to check the time on my watch than my phone.
