I wear a size 18 in Levi jeans. According to their size chart, that means that I should fit between a waist size of 37 1/4 - 39 1/2 inches and my hips should be between 47 - 49 inches. When I measure, both numbers are around 47 (yeah I'm a big girl, I know...) The size 18's are actually even a little big. I'm actually trying to find a pair of swimsuit board shorts and I am having a hard time figuring out what size to try and order. Whenever i check the size guide, it says that my waist should be around what the Levi's size chart says, so why is my number when I measure so drastically different?
