I'm about the same size as you, maybe an inch taller. I have a few pair of boot cut VS yoga pants. I got size XS regular length. They fit really well and the length isn't way too long, but the next time I buy some I will consider the short length. When I pull them out taught at the bottom they go about two inches past my foot. I think regular would be fine, I kind of like them longer, but I would recommend the short length.
