He's 21 and I'm trying to get him to dress like it (plus he has a graduation ceremony to attend) so we're going shopping today. I know what looks good when I see it all put together but then again I don't have experience in shopping for guys clothes. I'm thinking some solid color polos...a Henley shirt or two... What else does he need? What kind of shoes? I'm lost there... (he doesn't like allstars/vans because they make his feet look big). It's the beginning of summer here btw. For a boy of that age under my opinion it would be nice to combine the bright preferably white, khaki, safari or champagne colored lightweight pants, appropriate colored summer shirt and espadrilles or summer shoes in bolder tones, for example something like this:

Get him a nice pair of Nike running shoes girl!! &You honestly can do really basic stuff such as khaki shorts and a polo shirt with a belt. Get a nice pair of dark blue jeans ( my boyfriend wears Abercrombie &Fitch and Levi's) and like you said a few basic shirts. find the colors that look best on him. My boyfriend wears lots of blues, reds, greys, &black. It's easy!! Just let him help you pick whats comfortable.
