Can I use a spiral gauge to stretch my ears?

I am gauging my ears for the first time and I just bought some really small spiral gauges. My ears are only pierced, so can I just put the spirals in and progressively push more of it into my ear as they stretch? I plan to just keep buying small sizes and letting my ears progressively stretch. Is this method okay?I am gauging my ears for the first time and I just bought some really small spiral gauges. yeah spirals or "buffalo" horns are fine (google those if you haven't seen that type before). Even "dead stretching" is fine if your ear has been healed long enough (taking the plug itself with no taper and only a lubricant and putting it into your ear to stretch it).

make sure your ears are fully healed (a month) but Yes this method is okay, it's best to stretch them every month or two, but please do not force them in your ears if it doesn't want to be. Blowouts are serious risks, always take care.
