I'm moving into a small room, like 6.5X9, and want to save space by raising the bed. I only need it tall enough to get my chest of drawers under it, guessing it's around 4 foot, I don't the bed to the cieling. failing that, it just need to be risen enough to get my mini-fridge under it.
Doesn't need nice finish, nothing built in, I want it bare bones and efficient, that's all.
I see these beds going for 600+, cant afford that. I don't want the Walmart metal ones either, which go to the ceiling and look flimsy, though they are cheap(230$).
I realize I can build one. I will consider it, but would prefer to buy assuming I can get a decent price.
any help appreciated, I've checked through the obvious sites(sears, Walmart, ect) so please don't suggest them.
