Look under "cast iron hand water pump" in Yahoo search. It looks like a good one goes for about 100 bucks but a used one might be available. Remember to pour a little water down the spindle to prime it if the gasket gets dry!

Wake up and smell the Roses. The year is 2014 not 1914 . These days $200 is Chicken S**t.As for the pump Check out TSC or any Princess Auto . They go for about $50 and up but the pipes and other hardware will bring it up to $200 .

You need to go to a farm type store like Tractor Supply, or Farm and Fleet. They should have what you need.

A brand new hand pump is on ebay for $73 with free shipping.http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAMPBELL-PP2-17-...

I have a well that once had a pump on it. I'm on county water now, but I would still like to have the water source as a backup. Does anyone know where I can find a manual pump that does not require any power other than human effort? I've looked online and I've seen some run around $200 which I think it ridiculous.

I appreciate the effort
