I would opt for a bold solid color. The duvet looks black to me, so perhaps turquoise, coral, yellow or red pillow shams would look nice. Then, whatever color you add for the shams, repeat that color through out the room as your accent color to make it cohesive. Even a small solid area rug would make an impact and bring it all together.

I would go with a coordinating color. If you try to match, it won't be exact and won't look good.

You can go solid white, or a blue and white ticking or a blue and white plaid or check. Pottery barn should have something for you.
