I would like to purchase natural bamboo bedding sheets. Please help?

Dear, If you want to stay away from chemical treated stuff, then you should purchase the linen bedding sheets instead of bamboo sheets. Because Linen Sheets are made with 100% natural fiber but bamboo sheets can't be made without chemicals. The fiber rayon is made from a chemical reaction with cellulose extracted from bamboo plants. And also rayon is not a truly synthetic fiber or natural fiber, It is a semi synthetic or artificial fiber. Its normally used in textile industry and It is used for making blouses, jackets, diapers and neckties etc.

rayon is made of Cellulose which is part of any plant, but it then treated with a lot of chemicals so I would definitely not call it natural. I'm not sure if you are looking for environmental reasons or health reasons but if you are looking for these sheets for environmental reasons might I suggest first looking for a nice pair of second hand sheets instead? That way you are keeping those sheets out of a landfill and not adding to the demand to manufacture of more goods

I want NATURAL bedding fibers, but I am confused when I see labels that say rayon and viscose from bamboo and such. I thought rayon was synthetic? I was looking on Amazon.com, but if anyone has a recommendation of a good eco-friendly store or brand. I would like to stay away from chemically treated stuff. Can anyone clear up my confusion with "rayon from bamboo" and such? I looked on Wikipedia, but still rather confused and think it's still synthetic. Should I be looking for a label that says 100% bamboo?
