I would actually recommend a white tile flooring for the kitchen. It would contrast nicely with the cabinets and be much more durable and scratch-resistant than hardwood. As for the countertops, I think granite or quartz are good options. They are much more heavy-duty than marble and are similar in price. Sand-colored countertops go nicely with dark cabinets. They are also versatile and will look good with the white flooring.
