What color and design should I do my room?

What type of goth? Romantic? Go with a greyed down lavender for your walls. Mirrors enlarge the room so get some mirrors. You could go with that black and white damask, (so many people have it I would avoid it), a grey comforter set, and then throw in candles. What goth doesn't like candles. Think ornate, scrolls, heavy. If you want some punch, throw in some silver or gold metalic in the form of frames and/or pillows.

If you are more of a rock/punk goth go with the mirrors, paint the walls a dove grey, add some plaid, (punk/rock goth just has to have plaid), band posters, go with a more graphic print comforter set and think studs, street style, leather.

Here are some very gothic style bedrooms :http://www.digsdigs.com/26-impressive-go...

BUT

Since you really want a calm bedroom that has a soothing effect to help you sleep, I suggest an all white room or add a little blue to the white.Bright neon colors are not good for sleep.

Even though this room has a huge punch of color, it is still simple and relaxing.http://idreamdecors.com/bedroom-lighting...

Perhaps try and all white bedding and add a deep charcol wall?

The fourth picture here is great. The lights are horrible though. :http://www.houzz.com/photos/bedroom/gray...

Or, you can paint your walls a light or deep blue. The deep blue only on one wall.

Add fresh green plants and you have a calming room.

Hi,

- Used bright and fresh a color to paint your room and used mirrors in your room because it spreads light over the room.

- Don't use more accessories in your room.

- Paint your ceiling with bluish color because it keeps your eyes calm.

- Open the windows of your room so the air will let come.

Also explore some interior designer sites to get the best ideas. Check following link, I hope this will help you

Light colors will open your room up. I'm not sure about gothic, but how about black and white damask on your bed and curtains, with sea green on the walls. That would be really pretty.

I want gothic ideas please. And my room is small sl maybe something that will make it look bigger? Also I have sleeping problems so what colors could help me sleep better? Thanks so much ////
