Queen bed verses day bed?

I have a thing against day beds, which is silly, given that I live in a ~225 square foot studio.

My problem with them is that it'd be like sleeping on the couch. It's nice and all, when you doze off on the couch, but there is nothing like that feeling when you climb into an actual bed after dozing off on the couch.

I had a futon that was both our bed/couch, and HATED it. It feels like when you stay over at someones house in my opinion. Temporary, and not like a real home. One of my friends has a daybed, and while it's adorable, I couldn't imagine living it with it daily as your only bed.

I think the look of them is cute, but that's about it. Which is why I have both an oversized loveseat/sofa, and a full sized bed. (Fits me, my boyfriend, our dog, and 2 cats well, a queen would be nice, but the full size works for now given space restraints)

A queen bed is a better idea. You sleep with much more room .

If you get a day bed, I will bet you never take the time to make it up at all.

Enjoy decorating.

I have a day bed, and it's cute, and I love it! Make sure you get a lot of pillows to put against the back, and it's good. You should do that!

Queen bed is better for me. As they are full in size and also comfortable. Throw pillows makes it more awesome in both comfort and look.

Can you be more specific please?

I wanna know whether you like your daybed or regular queen bed better and why

Background: I'm getting a queen bed soon but idk if I'm getting a head board or anything.

Anyway, I just was curious because daybeds are cute and I could turn it into a couch kind of thing but idk if I'd like it and I want to know what other people say.
