Something that might help you get more answers, what is your CSI? Your colors, style, and interests? What about how it looks now doesn't look mature? Do you have any examples of what you find to look "mature"?

What's the color of your carpet? Bedding? Curtains? Decor? Walls?

If you have little sea/beach themed knick knacks, I'd try removing those and looking at the bare bones of what you have.

I have a blue bedroom with a sea theme but I want to change it to something more mature. I have a cedar bed, dresser, and nightstand and I don't want to paint them. So I am looking for a design that will work with it. Thank you for your answers.
