Yeah , it is more than okay !
I used to have a full size cheap air mattress that i used for camping one summer.
Then i moved to a place and i had this crummy old bed.
Then i thought , i should get that cheap air bed and put it on top of my regular bed.
So did. i just inflated it and put it on top of my bed.
It was very comfortable. it was soooo comfortable that i slept on it for months that way, Just on top of my bed.
I kept using it that way for months because it was much more comfortble than my mattress. until it got a leak in it that i could not repair.
So Yeah. You dont need to make big thing about it.
Just put it on top of your bed and sleep on it.
Or , remove your mattress and set the air bed on your box springs and sleep on that.
But tonight , just go get the air bed , blow it up , put it on top of your bed , put a sheet on it and sleep on it.
Very simple dont you think ?

Or you can just lay it on the box springs of your bed if you have box springs.
Or put on top of your current mattress.
Or as you asked ," can put in my bed frame ?" Yes you can , just remove your box springs and matt. And put a piece of plywood on you bed frame and put your airbed on that.
But if you have box springs , iit would be easier to put it on that.
Or take your bed apart and put it away some place.
Then just put the airbed on the floor and sleep on that.
How ever you do it , Just do it !! haha, Aint no big deal ;)
You dont need a bed frame at all..
Just put it on the floor and sleep on it.
Turn your bedroom into hippy bedroom.
Get some beads curtains for a closet door, a lava lamp , some hanging plants, some incense,.
Then lay down on your air bed and reelllaaaxxx and listen to some music as your tailbone says
" thankyou , i really like this airbed , feels good " and you will say " Do you really like it tailbone ? .
and tailbone says " Oh yes , i like this very much ! "
And you say , " Me too ! We should have done this a long time ago "
The one day your Sis wants to go camping again and askes " have you seen my airbed ? , " and you and tailbone say " what airbed ? " And she says . " The one i used last summer when i went camping. have you seen it. "
You and Tailbone say " No , dont you remember ? You left it laying in the garage and the dog and cat bit a big hole in it and Mom threw it away " . hehehe.:).
I recenently got a blow up mattress as my sister went camping and I find it VERY comfy and easy on by tailbone (which is always incredibly painful) and I was considering putting it in a normal bed frame ?? Is it okay? Haha. I'm only 16, but yeah, any replies appreciated :)
