You have a great opportunity to watch a baby robin grow. You can gently remove the wreath from the door and put it nearby. Robins are pretty adaptable -- probably won't abandon the nest just because you moved it. Mom will get used to your comings and goings, as long as you are cautious about it (no slamming door, shouting).
I am an animal/nature lover, so I don't want to do anything that could compromise the safety of the egg. Should I cease use of the front door? For how long?
